Last night we bribed Jack to eat his chicken with the promise of a giant piece of broccoli. It worked.

Letters to Santa
Last week the boys and I wrote letters to Santa (Jack dictated what he wanted his to say, and I just made one up for Owen). Today, Jack was playing with his Zhu Zhu pet (just a toy that came in a Burger King kids meal) and told me that we needed to write a letter to Santa for his Zhu Zhu pet. He said, "Dear Santa, I am a Zhu Zhu pet. I want a shirt."
Silly boy!

Jack is 39 (and a half) months...
That sounds SO old!!! I found a video of him from a year ago, and it was so weird seeing how much he's changed just in one year, he went from being just a little toddler to a full on little boy. It's crazy.
Jack:
-loves preschool. He asks me every day if it's a preschool day and is bummed when it's not.
-is a very good big brother. He helps me put Owen to bed: picks out a story, sings him a song, turns on his sound machine and gives him good night kisses. Sweetest thing.
-has 99.9% given up naps. I can still get him to take a nap occasionally (like today because he had a sleep over with his cousins, so he's extra tired), but it's pretty rare.
-is learning the Pledge of Allegiance at preschool - cutest thing ever. He makes up a lot of words, and I'm pretty sure he's pledging his allegiance to a frog (instead of the flag)...it's adorable.
-loves TV. We've restricted TV time to just during Owen's nap and an occasional movie night. His favorite show right now is Bob the Builder. He'll often be heard around the house singing, "Bob the Builder! Can we build it?"
-is learning to express his emotions. A phrase often heard around here is, "I'm mad at you mom." He says this anytime he doesn't get exactly what he wants. Sigh.
-is a complete and total cutie:
