Tonight we joined our good friends and neighbors, the Fagans, for some pizza and a little Coldstone. It was an interesting (but overall fun) experience...All of the high chairs were already in use at the restaurant, so they brought us a booster. Jack read booster to mean something he could stand on to try to climb on the table. Needless to say, the booster was a no-go. He kept trying to pull the tablecloth off the table, played with the blinds on the window behind us, and occasionally let out a wild man scream. Luckily the bread arrived then and that somewhat occupied him. Lifesaver of the evening was a cute little girl who was with her family in the waiting area (right behind where we were seated) who played peek-a-boo with Jack for a good 5-10 minutes. Thank you, cute little girl! The pizza arrived then, and while Jack threw some behind our booth and wiped most of the pizza sauce on Adam's shirt, we all managed to eat some YUMMY Metro Pizza! Coldstone went pretty well. Jack is pretty well behaved if you give him a bite of ice cream every now and then. He checked out some yummy Coldstone cakes and even tried to join the staff to make his own creation (code for he tried to sneak behind the counter). Here are some fun pictures from our evening: Adam's pointing out his stained shirt in this picture.
