Utah and Idaho Trip

We had SO much fun on our vacation!!!  (It was hard to be away from home and our friends for two weeks though.)  It was so nice to escape the Vegas heat (although at times, Utah didn't seem much better), and get to have fun with family we don't get to see too often.  This post is SATURATED with pictures...sorry!

We'll start with Utah....

My sister Lexi and her husband Richard.  They were so nice to let us stay with them when we were in Utah (9 days split over the beginning and end of our trip)....they are saints!  They also did the CUTEST job renovating their condo, I wish I had pictures of that!

We took Jack to the Gateway and he LOVED the fountain.  He was a little scared of it at first, but warmed right up and didn't freak out when the water drenched him.  It was so cute watching him run up to the water and then try to run away when the water would shoot up.

Jack loved exploring the reflection pool.  There was a bunch of 20-something girls behind us and he kept getting down and walking over and flirting with them.  Such a ham!

After a few days in Utah, we headed up to Sun Valley, Idaho to visit a bunch of my family.  We're also SUPER lucky that some of our best friends (the Perrons) live about 25 minutes from my grandparents (where we stayed).  We met the Perrons when we lived in Maui, and small world that it is,  found out that Josh was from Hailey, ID.  They relocated to Hailey about a year ago, and we're so excited that we got to see them when we were up there!  They also introduced us to a new S'mores recipe.  If you are a peanut butter cup fan, trying adding one instead of just chocolate.  YUMMY!  We had so much fun in Idaho!!!  The weather was PERFECT, gorgeous days and just slightly chilly at night.  Adam had such a blast - I think he'd move there if he could.  In the (almost) 5 years we've been married, this is the first trip we've taken to Sun Valley, and he loved it.  It was also nice to introduce him to some of my aunts, uncles and cousins he's never met (I hadn't even met a couple of the cousins!).  

Our friends (Josh, Sheena, Kameron and Taelyn Perron) took us to Alturas Lake.  It was GORGEOUS, and Jack loved running through the forest.

The Perrons:  Josh and Sheena, and their two kids Kameron and Taelyn

In Maui we used to have game nights with Josh and Sheena, and had SO much fun (sometimes staying up into the wee hours of the morning).  On our trip they introduced me to Balderdash. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but I ended up having so much fun!  (I made the boys pose with the box...they were not too excited.)

My cousins are SO cute and were so sweet to Jack.  They are just the best kids!  A lot of kids will act like they are too cool to play with the baby, but they were all SO nice to him and made sure that he was included in all the play and made sure that the two year old cousins shared with him.  Here are random cousin pictures...
